Preparing for Autumn in Vijlenerbos

Saturday 24th, as planned, I hiked again in the Vijlenerbos. I made a long walk to revisit some known locations and to search for new compositions in an un-explored part of the forest. This was a kind of preparation for capturing autumn in the Vijlenerbos.

It had rained a big part of the night before. In the morning there was no wind and the sky was almost completely clouded. All in all good weather conditions

I was hoping to see some progress in the development of the autumnal colours. But last week the weather was again to warm. It will still take a week or two until autumn has actually arrived.

I have included a selection of the images of this wander in this post.

I am curious what effect autumn will have on all the visited scenes. I hope we will have some foggy conditions during my next visits.

This time the starting point for processing the images in Capture One pro is the film simulation Fujifilm Astia (Soft). This simulation gives a more saturated look to the images.
