Autumn of 2022 has finally arrived in Vijlenerbos.
I decided to do some more photo walks in the Vijlenerbos. This with the idea to up the chance to encounter better weather and light conditions for woodland photography.
All in all, in the first part of this autumn those better light and weather conditions did not materialize. This year’s autumn also lasts longer then the usual two weeks. Now we are almost at the end of November and still a lot of the trees do not wear their orange and yellow leaves. Perhaps it is due to the high temperatures.
Beneath, I present a collection of photographs I took during my first autumnal photowalk. Today, the 19th of November I still hope to shoot some more autumnal woodland scenes.
Saturday the 5th of November we had some fleeting misty conditions during sunrise. I will present a collection of images of that Photo walk in my coming blog titled “The dark site of the Vijlenerbos”.
