Bronica walks take 2

After some trips with the 4×5 camera I decided to shoot again medium format film with my Bronica SQ. For a change of scenery I visited an old abandoned group of buildings called Fort de La Chartreuse at Bressoux Belgium.

After many changes of function (monastery, prison, hospital), the building complex has last served as military barracks. The Belgian army already left this complex of buildings around 1980. The City of Liege has still some building plans for this location. You can freely visit the location and its buildings. On the internet you will find a lot of images. It is interesting to see how nature takes everything back. The trees literally grow out of the buildings

It was my first visit to this location my goal was to explore the location and if possible shoot some interesting scenes. When exploring a new location, for me the medium format camera is more suitable then the large format camera.

In this short post I have included some favourite images of my first visit. I used a roll of HP5plus and FP4plus. I’am planning to visit this location some more.
