Rowans in the woods

In parts of the Vijlenerbos a lot of rowan trees grow between the other deciduous trees and pines.

During my photo walks on the 16th and 30th of July, I shot a lot of images of those beautiful rowan trees.

The orang/red colours of the berries of the rowan trees do give some interest to the images are included in this short post.

I’am curious how they will keep their beautiful red/orange berries in autumn and winter. When the leaves of the other deciduous trees will get their yellow, orange and brown colours this can lead to interesting compositions.

I shot these images to register the locations of the rowan trees and to previsualise future compositions.
