Digital autumnal colours 2023 Part 1

This autumn we have had some terrible weather conditions. A lot of rain but also stormy weather. Specially the wind did make it really challenging to do photography in the woodland.

I also used some rolls of 120mm colour negative film (Kodak gold 200). Once with my Ricohflex TLR and the second time with the Intrepid 4×5 camera.

This short post and images however are focused on the digital woodland photography. Because of the bad weather conditions this month (November) I revisited some known locations in the Vijlenerbos and Bois de la Julienne, both woodlands close to home.

I have included my favourite images of this autumn I have taken in the Vijlenerbos with my trusted Fujifilm XT3. All images are shot with the Fujifilm 33mm F1.4 lens and edited in Capture One with the use of the Fujifilm Astia colour film simulation.

In the next short post, Digital autumnal colours 2023 Part 2 I will present my favourite images of my photo walk in Bois de la Julienne.

This year autumn started really late and it will surely also end soon. The weather conditions and also the possibility to only do some photography in the weekends has really limited the chance to experience and capture more of this years autumnal colours.
